Tip For Today - Don't Let A Good One Get Away

With Christmas just around the corner, brides have to make decisions that could result in missing a great Christmas gift buying deal of losing out on a favorite vendor. You don't have to miss either. Hopefully by now, you have developed a good enough rapport with your vendor that you can ask special favors or considerations.

If you cannot afford to pay the amount required to book, ask for special considerations. Doing nothing will result is a missed opportunity. Vendors have Christmas budgets too so talk instead of being silent with your fingers crossed.

Do An Engagement Session

One of the hardest decisions a bride will make is selecting her wedding photographer. Sometimes just booking an engagement session will determine if this is somebody you want to trust your wedding day images with.

Brides who select my higher end packages gets an engagement session. This allow a bonding period between the couple and the photographer.

We get to know each other and develop a closeness. The photographer gets to see what he's working with. Some brides are natural and very photogenic. Some will need a little help. Showing up on the wedding day and making a bride look like a model takes work.

Getting to know my couples will allow me to photograph their inner emotions. I know what to say to them just before the snap simply because I got to know the emotional buttons during the engagement sessions.

A photographer MUST develop a friendship to really catch her being herself. I tell my couples during the engagement session, forget I'm here. I just want to capture the two of you being with each other.

Spend a little extra if you must but get the engagement session. It will make a world of a difference on your wedding day.
